The neighbourhood is packed with diverse amenities great for families, including community centres, parks, schools, and shopping. The nearby Mississauga Valley Community Centre houses a full hockey arena with seating and concessions, a lap pool and a therapeutic tank and fitness facility. The Mississauga Valley Library is also located in Cooksville. A number of plazas featuring restaurants and retailers can be found close to where Hurontario and Dundas streets meet.
