The Town of Milton is home to many types of areas including rural parts such as Ford.

About Ford

These abodes are great for people in need of privacy, who love the calm country roads and farmland. Though the scenery in the area is pretty picturesque, this doesn’t mean getting around will be a challenge. The major roads that run through this Milton part include Halton 25/Ontario Street as well as Britannia Road, Louis Saint Laurent Avenue and Bronte Street.

Ever wanted to raise a family in the countryside, yet still have close access to amenities? Residents can do so here as the Greater Toronto Area is not too far away. Locally though, children in this region can attend either P. L. Robertson Public School or Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary School. Once class is dismissed and the workday has ended, all ages can have fun at the Milton Sports Centre.

Life in Ford

Travelling just a bit north of the neighbourhood, this facility is incredible for lovers of hockey and skating. With four ice pads to take advantage of, practicing figure-8s and shooting pucks is easy to do. There are pickup hockey games, leagues and clinics available for people of all ages and stages. Furthermore, there are public skating hours, broomball as well as ice-skating lessons offered here as well.

People need not go too far when they need something as Ontario Street, just north of the neighbourhood has a great selection of grocery stores, restaurants and other retailers. With everything in reach, residents or those considering buying a house for sale in Ford can start loving their community already.

This Milton pocket is close to the bordering neighbourhoods of Cobban, Walker and Willmont.

Ford Real Estate

There is a special charm about the homes for sale in Ford; perhaps it’s the rural environment in which they are positioned. Not everyone wants to live in a big city like Toronto, and they don’t have to. This community is situated west of Halton 25 and just north of the major thoroughfare, Britannia Road. While this part of Milton remains quite country as some would say, there are sections that house real estate.

The styles of residential dwellings in this neighbourhood include farm and rural houses and tend to be located along the major roads. The spacious residences are encircled by greenery and many of the properties within the community are set so far back from the road, people have to ride for more than a few moments to reach the end of the drive way.
