Life in Bronte

Bronte is filled with options for outdoor fun, like community favourite Coronation park. Situated on the lakeshore, picnicking is a favourite past time of visitors. Boating is a popular activity around these parts, with a thriving harbour the centre of attention in Bronte. Canoeing, swimming and fishing are also welcomed water activities that take place in the area. Bronte is also filled with paths winding through the harbourfront.

For foodies, there is no shortage of restaurants and diners along the lakeshore. Downtown Oakville isn’t far, and features exquisite heritage buildings, boutiques, cafes, thrift and antique stores, and more. Each year the Jazz Fest is held in this neighbourhood, and residents can hardly wait for the annual Oakville Waterfront Festival in the summer. There’s also an Autumn Festival, and the winter Santa Clause Parade.

This community is convenient for people looking for a bit of comfort out side of the city. It’s close to major roads including Highway 403 and the Queen Elizabeth Way, so commuting is easy. Travellers can also catch the GO train at Bronte Station

Bronte Real Estate

Real estate in Bronte is highly varied. There is a wide selection of luxurious waterfront condos, detached properties, and development land. There are back split single-family homes, ranch bungalows, two-storey builds, and new construction properties. Many homes sit on large lots with mature trees and glistening ravines. There are many bungalows and split-level homes built between 1940-1960s, though new, custom-built infill properties are beginning to replace them.
